Description:Nexium Acid Reducer Esomeprazole Magnesium 20mg is intended for use for treatment of frequent heartburn (occurs 2 or more days a week). This product is not intended for immediate relief of heartburn; drug may take 1 to 4 days for full effect.

Directions for Adults Age 18+:Swallow 1 capsule with glass of water before eating in the morning. Take 1 capsule per day for 14 days. May take 1 to 4 days for full effect. Do not take for more than 14 days or more often than ever 4 months, unless directed by physician.

Active Ingredients:

  • Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate (equivalent to 20 mg esomeprazole)

Warnings:

  • Do not use Nexium 24HR capsules if you have an esomeprazole allergy.
  • Keep this product out of reach of children.

  • If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
  • If you experience any of the following, do not use Nexium 24HR capsules: trouble or pain swallowing food, vomiting with blood, or bloody or black stools; heartburn with light-headedness, eating or dizziness; chest pain of shoulder pain with shortness of breath, sweating; pain spreading to arms, neck, or shoulders, or light-headedness; frequent chest pain These may be signs of a serious condition. See your doctor.
  • If you experience any of the following, talk to a doctor before using Nexium 24HR capsules: heartburn for over 3 months (This may be a sign of a more serious condition); frequent wheezing, particularly with heartburn; unexplained weight loss; nausea or vomiting; stomach pain
  • Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using Nexium 24HR Capsules if you are: taking a prescription drug. Acid reducers may interact with certain prescription drugs.

Description:

Nexium Control provides a powerful combination medication that helps treat frequent heartburn in people with frequent heartburn. Each tablet of Nexium Control contains 20 mg of esomeprazole magnesium, which is the active ingredient in Nexium, to help manage the frequency of heartburn and reduce the risk of esomethericulitis. Just one week after taking Nexium Control, you can enjoy more relief from frequent heartburn with a healthier lifestyle. The medication works by inhibiting the release of the cation such as magnesium or potassium from stomach acid.

Directions for Use:

  • Take one tablet 20 to 48 hours after eating a large meal or snack.

  • Swallow one tablet with water. Do not chew or crush the tablets.

  • If you miss a tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time for your next tablet, skip the missed tablet and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a higher dose of Nexium Control or more frequent doses if you are experiencing the same problem.

Warnings:

  • Nexium Control can cause stomach upset and vomiting. Do not take this medication if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the other ingredients of this product.

  • Drinking too much carbonated hydroxybutyrate (“CB”) can cause a severe skin reaction. To prevent this, wash your hands before and after applying Esomeprazole Control.

  • This product should not be used if you have severe heartburn, severe liver problems, or a history of stomach bleeding. Seizures, blood clots, or a history of these diseases have also been reported in patients taking Nexium Control. Do not use Nexium Control if you also use a antacids to treat your heartburn. Consult your doctor if you are using esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate (Xeomin, Maguire, others) or sucralfate (Ritecin, others) to treat your heartburn. Nexium Control may cause hearing loss and a lower risk of fructose intolerance.

  • Before using Nexium Control, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives of your choosing.

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking Nexium Control.

We admit that werequently experience occasional side effects. The side effects we have are usually mostly stomach pain, indigestion, and headache. A 20-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with a suspected diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and acid reflux (AR).

His medical history included history of GERD, previous history of heartburn and acid reflux, previous history of ulcerative colitis, esophagitis, previous history of gastric ulcer, gastric bypass (GABG) and previous gastric cancer, ulcerative colitis, stomach ulcer, and stomach cancer.
